GUINEVERE GUESTS COMMENTS

April 30 - May 7, 2019 - Great Snorkeling!
We had a great trip. Though when we arrived it was blowing pretty good. So we were stuck in the Harbor for a day or two. But Renald managed to find a some new snorkeling spots for us which was great. In order to make it up to Staniel Cay Renald suggested he could do an overnight sail. So that Kathy could sleep through the rough part of the passage. This allowed us to enjoy the great snorkeling outside of the thunderbolt grotto without wasting a day for the trip too. On the way back we experienced some new snorkeling spots as well as others that we have snorkeled before. All in all it was a great trip. The food was good and plentiful. The boat was well maintained and much easier for Mike to climb into the bunk in the middle of the night compared to the other models of the Saint Francis Design. Kathy especially liked the convenience of the electric head.

Peaceful break
Ren was a pleasure as our host. He was right there for anything we needed. He answered the many questions my son and husband had about the beautiful catamaran. The beds were so comfortable I actually woke up and didn't know where I was for a second. We had a much needed peaceful break from reality and loved every minute of it. So from Glen, Alexandra, Glen Jr and our friend Margie we thank you for a wonderful stay. Alexandra

Life on a catamaran
Despite the changes to our travel plans, and the crew were so accommodating. The catamaran was in fantastic condition for us and Ren was a super captain. There was plenty of space for everyone. Breakfast was a delightful bonus! We enjoyed staying on Guinevere and learning more about life on a catamaran and sailing in general. Ren was very gracious about our daily schedules which took us on and off the boat several times. We look forward to crossing paths with Ren & Chef in the future. Kelley and young Family from York SC.

Loved Guinevere!
The boat is a beautiful catamaran. The bedrooms are a decent size for the boat, and having a private bath for each bedroom is very nice. You are on a boat, so you'll have to be considerate about water usage and take fast showers, but it's hard to get a more comfortable boat stay. The common areas are fantastic and we did not want to leave the boat really, it was such a great time hanging out on the water and watching the sunsets. Capt Ren is very nice and helpful in all aspects and we had a phenomenal time. Stefan

Day charter
We enjoyed a beautiful day sail with Captain Ren! The boat was lovely; very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We were made to feel right at home! Ren was so wonderful with our kids, patiently answering questions about the boat, letting them help him steer the boat, and was delighted to let them (safely) climb around and enjoy. We had a beautiful sail and swim! What a wonderful day! Thank you! Abigail

Newport
What an awesome trip to Newport and it had a lot to do with our awesome home on the water, The Guinevere. Captain Ren was an amazing host to us and our four kids (ages 14, 12, 10 and 8). The boat was brand new and the cabins were very well kept. We loved hanging out on the boat watching TV, reading and teaching Captain Ren how to play UNO. The kids also loved learning how to drive the dingy to and from shore under Captain Ren's supervision. No better way to experience Newport!! Steven

Newport Harbor
Staying on the boat was fantastic. From morning swims to evening sunsets, it felt like a true vacation to spend 3 days living on a beautiful sailboat in the Newport Harbor. Ren was a great captain. He picked us up with our luggage from the dock and got us well oriented for staying on the boat. Breakfast was delicious (coffee/tea, juice, yogurt, granola, muffins, and fresh fruit). Staying on the boat was easy to get accustomed to. The boat is gorgeous, far and away the fanciest boat I've ever been aboard. Each of the 3 rooms has a large bed that easily sleeps 2. Each room also had its own bathroom with shower and small storage area. Like all boats, spaces are smaller but we had ample room for all 4 of us guests and our belongings. Such a special experience! 5 stars.

East Coast
Ren was very gracious and accepted our party like friends from the beginning. The boat is amazing, beautiful and functional. It was quite a treat to be on the water in the mornings for breakfast and for the evening sunsets! The boat has everything you need, I am glad we didn't miss this unique opportunity. Stefan

Newport
Staying with Ren on the Guinevere was the best decision we could have made during our stay in Newport. We were in town to check out the Folk Festival, which we'd been attending for many years, and this was probably the best hotel/rental experience we've had so far. The logistics of getting to and forth to the boat and festival with all of our belongings seemed like it would be a complicated process, but Ren made it so simple and actually became a very enjoyable part of the process. We went into the long weekend knowing exactly where to park in town (for free) and where to meet. Ren was the most gracious host; He prepared us a delicious, healthy breakfast every morning while we jumped off the back of the boat to start our day. He was very pleasant to talk to and spend time with on the boat, plus he makes a mean cup of coffee ;). The boat is large enough that we all had plenty of privacy whenever it was desired. The catamaran trampoline is a great place for watching distant thunderstorms! The catamaran itself is very stable, even in rougher waters/storms. I can't say enough positive things about Ren and crew and our entire experience staying with them. 10/10 would recommend. Jeff and family

Annapolis
Staying onboard the luxury Guinevere provided us the perfect stay for our weekend in Annapolis. Ren was an excellent host but wouldn't expect anything less from a fellow Canadian. His friendly disposition and accommodating nature provided us with an exceptional experience aboard his vessel. It was conveniently situated near the downtown core, making travel to and from the yacht easy and convenient. We couldn't ask for a better view of the harbour whether directly from our cabin or during breakfast on the aft deck. We would definitely charter again and look forward to another visit. Todd
