Let the view through crystal clear waters determine whether to snorkel a colorful reef, or fish for tuna or wahoo, while cruising the pristine waters of the Caribbean.
CAPTAIN CHRIS "BIFF" SMITH
Captain Biff learned to sail in the Cub Scouts on an old coal pit quarry outside Manchester, UK. As soon as he was old enough to teach water sports, he packed his bags and headed for the Mediterranean to start his first ever sailing job.
Biff’s knowledge is extensive and his accomplishments are impressive. He was awarded a BA Honors in Maritime Leisure Management and holds many certifications including; Commercially Endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore, AC & Refrigeration Engineer, Advanced Dinghy, Windsurf, Powerboat, PWC, Keelboat, Multihull & Yacht Instructor. Biff managed a large activity team and hotel at a prestigious sailing resort in Porto Heli, Greece for many years before opening his own sailing school there with Amy. Together they have sailed, delivered boats and provided many holiday experiences throughout Europe and the Mediterranean.

Charters aboard GOOD VIBRATIONS can be as relaxing or high-energy as guests would like. Biff doesn’t tire easily, it’s a great opportunity to try something new under the guidance of a pro. Learn to water-ski, tie some knots, trim the sails or make a Painkiller! What is most important to Biff ? “I love to teach, I love to race, I love my girl. Always from the heart”, he says.
CHEF AMY EDMONDS
Amy can hardly remember a time when she didn’t love to cook. She says, “I have enthusiastically been a chef for anyone who was hungry since I was little. I started when I was about nine years old, cooking for my family after I got home from school. I’ve really never stopped. I continued cooking throughout college and my overseas travels. I first learned to sail on holiday in Turkey, that’s when I realized that being a yacht chef fulfilled my two greatest passions, cooking and sailing.”
Amy has an extensive repertoire of recipes. Many are inspired by the dishes she learned to prepare during her world travels. She also has culinary certifications from Ashburton Cookery School & Chefs Academy, River Cottage & Orchard Cookery School and Cocoa Black Chocolate & Pastry School. Her personal favourite dish is pie. “But”, she says, “even I can’t bake them like my mum!” Charter guests’ love her West Indian Shrimp with Coconut Rice. This dish always gets rave reviews and recipe requests without fail.
Amy is a warm-heated, caring person. She is dedicated to ensuring that guests aboard GOOD VIBRATIONS have a superb charter experience. She wants everyone to know that despite hurricanes Irma and Maria, the Virgin Islands (British, Spanish & US) are still a fabulous charter destination. Paradise has undergone a transformation. Its beauty is a bit raw, yet even more relaxed and easy going. A chilled bottle of champagne, a mile of white sand, and a spectacular sunset. That’s a beach bar you’ll never forget!
