Captain George and First Mate/Chef Cathy hail from Southern New Hampshire where their dream of setting sail in the Virgin Islands was set into reality. Their adventure began a decade ago in the Virgin Islands where they sought to escape the harsh New England winter. They chartered a bare boat with friends and explored the beautiful waters of the Virgin Islands. They became so enchanted with the experience they wanted to share their passion for adventure with others.
Georges love for adventure and the water began as a young boy in the waters of New England. He enjoyed boating, sailing, scuba diving (PADI Advanced Diver), kayaking and most every other water activity you can think of. He has over 30 years of boating experience with various sail and power vessels. George and Cathy summer in New England where George captains a 48 passenger sailing catamaran in Newburyport, Massachusetts. George is also an Ordained Minister and is able to perform marriage ceremonies on both land and sea for anyone interested.
Cathy was raised in a large Italian family that inspired her culinary creativity. Her training came the old fashioned way, in her grandmothers kitchen! She enjoyed preparing Sunday dinner for the family and has been hosting family and friends with her culinary delights over the years with combinations of old world recipes and new recipe flairs. She is passionate about creating healthy & delicious meals using the freshest, local ingredients. Cathy also enjoys spending time on the water. She loves swimming, snorkeling and paddle boarding. She finds fun in everything and believes that there is always a reason to celebrate!
George and Cathy thank you for reviewing their profile and hope you will begin your own Virgin Island adventure with them aboard Katlo.
The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.
