A vibrant and professional couple from South Africa, Justin and Cayley have worked together in the charter industry for the past nine years. Their experiences as crew have taken them to the far reaches of the Eastern Mediterranean and the Western Caribbean. Their passion for travel and meeting new people brought them together nine years ago on the infamous seas off of the South African coast. Their welcoming personalities will relax you the moment you step aboard Aldebaran for the luxury vacation of your dreams.
Justin, your MCA Yacht Master Captain, developed his sea legs at a very young age, having done his first ocean crossing at nine months old. He then spent part of his childhood living in the Islands of the Seychelles where his Dad ran a charter yacht. His exposure to sailing and the island way of life fostered a wanderlust that resulted in Justin traveling extensively through Europe the Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand.
An avid sportsman, Justin has the patience and skills necessary to share his passions with beginners and more experienced water-sport enthusiasts alike. Justin is equally comfortable below the water and holds a PADI Dive Master Certificate. Having spent 6 years in the charter industry, Justin prides himself on his ability to multitask and is as well-known for his wakeboarding skills as he is for his cocktail mixing.
Cayley, your hostess, is an easy going, warm person, with a passion for the ocean and a creative flair for entertaining. She graduated as a Nursing Sister but was soon drawn to the world of sailing where she and Justin met. Years of experience in the charter industry have left her with skilled culinary abilities and an impressive attention to detail. Cayley has explored her love for cooking through her travels which helps her create delicious gourmet cuisine from every corner of the globe. She prepares menus that are diverse and can suit all dietary needs.
Cayley is known by her friends as a real water baby, as she loves all water-sports and activities. A qualified diver, she loves to share the wonders of the Caribbean waters with her guests. She is also an avid surfer and a dedicated student of yoga.
A love for the ocean and a passion for cooking combine in Cayley and ensure that your vacation aboard Aldebaran will be more than you could ever have dreamed of.
