We wanted to personally thank you for a superb vacation.
We could not be more appreciative of all of your hard work and dedication towards creating such a wonderful atmosphere. Glen, your love and knowledge of sailing and willingness to share it with us was phenomenal. Debbie, your meals and their presentation were truly gourmet. In addition, your bartending expertise definitely makes you “the Hostess with the most-ess’. The vessel is beautiful, our stateroom very roomy and comfortable. The shower was large and had plentiful hot water. You were both extremely patient and friendly. You struck the perfect balance, being available and enjoyable company and knowing when we needed time to be alone. We can't thank you enough for your hospitality. We will definitely join you again next year.

| | More than special guests! | Thanks for everything you did to insure our holiday fun and relaxing.
Glen’s knowledge and skill in sailing was very impressive. From the way he negotiated the traffic jam in Cruz Bay to the calm waters he found every night for our berth. His support made the sailing experience both exciting and safe.
Debbie’s cooking exceeded my expectations, which were right up there based on the sample menu. All meals were truly gourmet and the more Debbie learned of our preferences the more she tailored the meals to our tastes. Certainly even the best restaurant on the island could not do this for their guests.
But what truly made this vacation wonderful was the way Debbie and Glen were able to make us feel like more than special guests. It seemed like we had know you for years instead of a few days. This way truly an unexpected gift.
Thanks again for all the “extra” and the assistance with getting to the airport with the double departure times.

| | We boarded Synergy as chartered guests and departed as friends! | We sailed the U.S. and British Virgin Islands with Glen and Debbie Ballou on their 46 foot Beneteau “Synergy” in November 2010. Letting Glen’s years of experience be our guide, we sailed to places we’d never get to see, much less visit, on a large cruise ship. Places such as Waterlemon Cay at Leinster Bay, Sopers Hole on Tortola, The Baths in Virgin Gorda and Jost Van Dyke. The scenery was spectacular!
And the meals? Well, Debbie’s culinary talents were second to none. (As were her “Painkillers!”)
Our trip was by far one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. We sailed, motored, swam, snorkeled, hiked, shopped, ate, drank and slept for a glorious week.
Never having met them before our trip, Glen and Debbie made us feel welcome from the very start. We like to tell folks that we boarded Synergy as chartered guests and departed as friends!
