| CREW PROFILES | | | Captain: Edward Persichetti | Nationality: USA | | Number of Crew: 2 | | Crew Profiles: Captain Edward J. Persichetti
Edward (Eddie) was born and raised in a small town in Southern Jersey. Ed, to say the least, cut his teeth on boats. Growing up he accumulated phenomenal deep sea fishing skills with his father and twin brother. Ed received his degree in Communications from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pa. While in the inner city Ed couldn¡¦t quite shake his love of the open ocean. After graduation he obtained in 200 gross ton license and pursued a career as a captain in 2002 driving the Prudence Island Ferry out of Bristol, RI. While he enjoyed the treacherous weather and unpredictable seas in the Northeast year round, Ed found a more glamorous calling. Ed became apart of the yachting community in 2005. He was the irreplaceable first mate on the M/Y Condalora for over a year and a half with his partner in crime, Cailyn(chef/stew featured below). While traveling the beautiful waters of the Caribbean Ed decided to take over his own boat, which lead him to Whale¡¦s Way in January of 2007. The decision was a hard one but proved to be the right one. Ed couldn¡¦t be more excited to travel with Whale¡¦s Way and is even more excited to provide a ¡§big boat experience¡¨ to his charters and guests. Ed has a willingness and skill to provide his guests with the itinerary of their choice and the trip of a lifetime. Ed efficiently amazes most and explains his diligent work ethic. Things to know about Ed; He more than enjoys fishing, diving, surfing, underwater photography and is a skilled guitarist. Ed provides a charm to the M/Y Whales Way that will ensure a fabulous boating experience.
Cailyn M. Krembs
Cailyn was born in Bristol, RI and raised in Naples, Florida, but lived awhile in Northern Minnesota. Cailyn grew up on the ocean or by lakeside and couldn¡¦t imagine being farther than a mile from a shore line. Cailyn is the outdoorsy yet creative side to Whale¡¦s Way. Even though Cailyn¡¦s background is in nursing, she has veered off the typical nursing path several times in her life. Cailyn has been actively affiliated with the Outward Bound Program and the Boy Scouts of America and Venture Crews for the last 10 years. While living in Minnesota she would work for the hospitals during the fall and winter then would work for camps in Northern Minnesota and Northern Wisconsin, eventually leading to her own directorship of Hanna Venture Base. Cailyn astonishingly moved back to her home town of RI and became apart of the yachting community in 2005 with her partner in crime, Eddie(featured above). With prior thoughts of becoming an event planner Cailyn felt yachting had the same potential to tap into her creative outlets especially with cooking and being the stewardess all at the same time! Cailyn creates not just an experience on Whale¡¦s Way but life time memory. Cailyn says,¡¨I want our guests to remember us not next month or the year after their trip, I want them to remember us in 10 years and just say nothing at all, but just sit with a smile on their faces¡K reminiscing on their absolute enjoyment of their time spent on Whale¡¦s Way. I believe we create that kind of experience and hope many people will want to join in the fun¡K¡¨ Things to know about Cailyn; She enjoys the outdoors, party planning, diving, their dog Oliver, new ports to explore, wine and great cheese. ƒº Cailyn provides the sparkle of ambiance and delicate touches of serenity to the M/Y Whale¡¦s Way that makes a memorable boating experience
