With her warm and traditional interior and sea-kindly hull, Trilogy’s
guests feel especially welcome and comfortable as soon as they come aboard.
She accommodates six to seven guests in a handsome king stateroom and two well-appointed
twin-bedded cabins (one with a Pullman berth).
Having had a complete interior refit in 2004 under the direction of Patrick
Knowles, as well as additional upgrades more recently, Trilogy offers a variety
of inviting social areas, all enhanced by beautifully grained honey teak. The
7-foot 3-inch headroom creates a sense of spaciousness throughout, while privacy
is enhanced by walk-around decks that allow crew to move about the boat without
disturbing the guests.
The main saloon has a sitting area plus a desk and a complete entertainment
center that includes a 50” Flat screen TV and an iPod hook-up with more
than 13,000 choices to suit everyone’s taste in music.
A separate dining saloon, forward, is the setting for intimate candle-lit dinners.
The aft deck is enclosed by large windows which may be opened to enjoy a fresh
breeze, or kept closed when air conditioning is preferred. A cocktail table
here converts to a dining table, making this a very appealing place for casual
meals. A small cockpit beyond the aft deck provides easy access to the swim
platform and water sports.
The foredeck, with its broad settee, is a perfect place for surveying the scenery
or sunbathing on the large private bunny pad. Another enjoyable spot for taking
in the views is the flybridge, with its port and starboard settees. For those
who prefer to be out in the sunshine, the boat deck, just aft of the flybridge,
is often the favorite place for daytime relaxation.
Trilogy has a solid heritage. A long range cruiser, conceived by Jack Hargrave,
whose designs have always been cited for their strong lines, seamanship, and
performance, she was built by Cheoy Lee, the venerable yard known worldwide
for luxury power and sailing yachts as well as large cargo vessels, ferries,
and tugboats. Trilogy is a fine testament to the integrity of their work.
