Captain – Aristeidis Avgerinos
Born in Athens in 1961 Cpt. Aris has an experience of more than 15 years working and traveling the Mediterranean Sea and the Caribbean Isles. His unique ability to adapt to the needs of passengers and to create a pleasant and unforgettable experience for them during their cruise is the least of his qualifications. He is a holder of the Diploma of CAPTAIN 1st CLASS of Commercial Navy (KESEN) Ministry of Commercial Shipping, ISPS certificate for the Officer of Safety of Boat “SSO”, degree of Officers advanced Marine Research, Rescue, Fire Fighting and First Aid, Faculty of Safety and Fire Fighting means of YEN, Bridge Maneuvering Simulator, Medical Care On Board Ship, Bridge Resource Management, HELMEPA. Cpt. Aris has
served on numerous R0-Ro/Passenger ships including but not limited to SETE, MYWAY, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Olympic Cruises, and MINOAN. Cpt. Aris excels as the Master of M/Y O’MEGA. He holds the crew’s moral at the highest level and
continuously searches for new ways to guide and give example to the other members. He is proficient in both the English and Spanish language and those who have the pleasure to engage in conversation with him will learn of the experience and knowledge he has retained over his numerous years of experience in the Sea going field. Capt Aris enjoys cycling, football, volleyball and chess.
Chief Officer – Dimitris Tzanetos
Born in Athens (Greece) in 1962, Capt. Dimitris graduated from the Mercantile Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos in Greece and holds a Class “B” captain’s Diploma as well as a First Class Diploma in Marine Radio/Satellite communications. Further to the above mentioned qualifications, Capt. Dimitris also holds Certificates in ISPS (Officer of Security onboard “SSO”), Degree of Officers Advanced Marine Research, Rescue, Fire Fighting and First Aid, faculty of Safety and Fire Fighting Means of YEN, BRM (Bridge Resource Management), Medical Care onboard ship, and Passengers ship Safety. Additionally to all above he holds a Certificate of Piraeus University in Shipping Companies’ Safety Management (ISM). His almost 14 years of global seagoing experience includes some of the most reputable commercial and passengers shipping companies. Capt. Dimitris in addition to Greek speaks English and French fluently. He enjoys water sports, traveling, exploring new places and meeting people with different cultures.
Cadet Officer – Aleksandros Skaris
Born in 1980 in Athens. Mr. Aleksandros has excellent knowledge of the Mediterranean Sea with specialization of the Greek Islands. He graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of the Greek State and continued his studies in
economics in England. Mr. Aleksandros speaks 2 languages and participates in Jet Ski racing.
Chief Engineer – Vasileios Eleftheriou
Born in 1973 in Athens. Mr. Vasilis has graduated from the Mercantile Marine Academy of Chania in Greece and hold a First Class Engineer Diploma. He holds certificates for Personnel Survival Techniques, Advanced Fire Fighting and
Prevention, Medical First Aid, Personal Safety, Ship Security Officer, and Advanced Tanker Safety. In addition to the above, he has also attended seminars at the Warsash Maritime Centre (Southampton Institute Division), Quality Maritime Services S.A., Chandris Hellas INC, and the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association. His seagoing experience includes numerous of the most reputable
commercial shipping and yachting companies such as Chandris INC, Atlantic Bulk Carriers, and Festival Cruises. Mr. Vasilis keeps the heart of the ship beating
properly. He is responsible for the engine department, the instillation of machinery and ensuring that all is in proper operation. Mr. Vasilis enjoys a good game of
basketball, and long bike trips.
Chef A – Nikolaos Geranis
Born in 1974 in Athens. Mr. Nikos studied at the “Chef d oeuvre” Private Culinary school of Athens. He has worked in the top hotel restaurants in Athens and of the world including that at the Elounda Beach in Creta, the Colombi at Freiburg, Germany, the Kapuzinergarten at the French borders and the Hilton Athens and has collaborated with chefs like Alfred Klink (1* Michelin). The Mediterranean Sea offers him the first material and sparkle of inspiration, from there all that there is to add to his successful cuisine is his love… Mr. Nikos’ passion for his art decorates every dish he brings to the table. His other heartaches include cinema and music as he has made studies for Film Director and has presented musical emissions in the Athenian radio-audience.
Chef B – Ioannis Kallergis
Born in 1976 in Athens. Mr. John studied at the ΣΤΕ cooking school in Galexithy Greece. He has spent many years perfecting his art at the some of top restaurants in
Greece. These include the Novotel Athenes, the five star Park Hotel in Athens, the Estate Nasioutzik, the renowned ΝΟΕ Yachting Club, and BLE restaurant. He has been named the representative of Greek cuisine in Germany, England and Japan and now here in Greece by the Greek Ministry of Tourism.
Chief Steward – Charalambos Kouletianos
Born in 1956 on the island of Kithera. Mr. Babis has more than 25 years experience working on large cruise ships and yachts. His seagoing experience includes 20 years on board the 650-passenger luxurious cruise ship “Stella Solaris”, 2 years on board the 950-passenger famous cruise ship “Voyager” as well as a few months on the cruise ships “Stella Okeanis” and “Stella Maris”. He likes to see every client as a challenge and has the talent of foreseeing clients’ requests even before they are made. His wide experience on cruise ships has taught him to be attentive yet discrete and to guarantee punctuality and excellent around-the-clock service from himself and his service crew on board. Mr. Babis is an expert in his profession and his skills are well known and shared. To his assigned crew, he is like a maestro who organizes all
formalities down to the slightest detail, to the rest of the crew he is like a father who gives the right example for his children to follow. Mr. Babis is fluent in English, which enables him to have excellent communication with his guests. Besides his profession, Mr. Babis enjoys spending endless hours fishing and cruising the calm
