| GUESTS COMMENTS | | The Luscombe Family | Hello Kris & Jay!
Well we made it home... finally! Once we got to Chicago on Tuesday PM our flight was cancelled going to Edmonton because of weather. We spent the night in Chicago and then headed to hell and back by flying to LA, then Vancouver and finally Edm, arriving home Wed PM at 10:30.
Cathy and I are already missing the pampering that you showered us with, while on board Semper Fi! We watched our digital photos on the TV and still cannot believe that the Caribbean waters are that pristine and the islands that beautiful! We will remember many highlights from our trip but 1st and foremost will be the royal treatment we received from the two of you.
Most of all we appreciated the little things that you may think went unnoticed so here is a few of the things that we enjoyed and most likely forgot to show our appreciation:
The way that our rooms were cleaned in the AM without us even noticing that you were busy, all while we relaxed after breakfast. The little touches like the blankets on the beds formed into shaped like fans and hearts, and the daily piece of chocolate on our pillows at night along with a bottle of water.
Semper Fi always looking clean both inside and out. Jays continuous scrubbing of the windows and outside deck and attention to the fresh water rinsing of the snorkel gear. The floating tube "appearing out of no where" and then disappearing once we were officially done with it. Kris' attention to a tidy cabin, spotless galley and empty garbage cans throughout the ship and the on going restocking of the candy bowls! The meals were wonderfully prepared and delicious and Kris even managed to get the girls to try Sea Bass- a feat that I have never been able to achieve in my lifetime!
We appreciated the 2-4 options of activities that were offered daily and the fact that booking were made or changed with dive companies, quad rentals and taxi cabs, all without us having to be concerned that we were missing relaxing time or concerned that we should be thinking of what to do tomorrow. We enjoyed exploring The Baths, walking around Sandy Spit and riding the quads with our personal tour guides, knowing that we were safe and seeing many views and beach bars! The tattooing at Willie T's will always be remembered by Rebecca and April! :)
Finally, thank you for going the extra mile with our daughters. You both gave them one on one attention in our travels and in conversations over dinner and that really made them feel special and that this was a trip with 6 adults and not "2 teenagers tagging along". You spoiled them rotten with re-stocking of their favourite snacks, making their favourite extravagant pasta salad :) and for their individual breakfast requests of muffins for Becca and pancakes for 'Creepy'!
We wish you continued success with Semper Fi and in the future, hope that your personal dream of raising a family comes true!
Sincerely,
David, Cathy, Rebecca & April | | | | | The Beighton Family | Dear Jay & Kris,
When Judy and I set about the task of organising our holiday, some 12 months ago, to celebrate our joint 50th birthdays we both agreed it should be a special holiday and that we would like to share that holiday with 4 of our closest friends.
Selecting BVI as a location was never in doubt as we had enjoyed a holiday there previously. Making our choice to do this aboard a motor
yacht did however carry somewhat more of a risk. We were therefore very careful in our selection of boat and always made it clear that it was
important we had the right crew to ensure our virgin adventure was special.
The beauty of the British Virgin Islands came as no surprise. The first impressions and visual impact of Semper Fi itself was no shock as we
have had experience over the years with a number of other boats.
However, what we had underestimated was the comfort, the practicality and how enjoyable it was to live in the close confines of others.
What did however completely blow the six of us away was you two. Jay always professional, never complacent whilst at the same time being
great fun to be with, witty and with an amazing ability to take us to places that brought the most excitement and special moments to our
holiday (change of scenery please Jay). As for Kris the preparation of the boat and attention to detail in making everything comfortable and so
well presented was something we marveled at day after day. Your cuisine and hospitality blew us away. Like Jay, you were a fantastic host,
great fun to be around and were never anything but professional.
The six of us arrived for our charter on the Sunday morning and met the Captain and his wife Semper Fi's hostess. We left eight days later,
with two new fabulous friends and as heart wrenching as it was leaving the Caribbean, the fantastic Semper Fi the tough part was leaving you
two.

>Finally, we are so so sorry for taking so long to contact you but it seems one minute we were sat on a deserted island drinking Sundowner's
>the next back in the rat race and I am sure you know the saying 'whoosh what was that, that was another month gone mate' (a bit of English
humour for you to work on Jay!)
Love to you all from your English mates.

| | | | | King Family | My wife and I together with two guests took an 8 day charter on the Semper Fi for Christmas 2006. We have chartered before in the Bahamas and in
Greece, and found our Semper Fi charter to meet or exceed all of our expectations. The ship itself is comfortably fitted out with three large
staterooms, and is maintained in top notch condition, both mechanically and in appearance . Captain Jay and his wife Chris looked after our every need and were always accommodating whenever we wanted a side island trip to snorkel or to visit a new site, often waiting hours for us in the dinghy.
Captain Jay's knowledge of the area came in handy in locating the best spots for any activity- remote beaches, snorkeling or interesting treks.
Chris is an excellent cook and was able to meet our somewhat unusual requirements(one vegetarian, one non-fish eater, and two eclectic but discriminating diets.) The menus were varied and always tasty as were the variety of appetizers she produced daily.
From our perspective the charter was a great success in every way.
I would recommend the Semper Fi charter to any of my friends.

| | | | | The Cheskis Family | Hi Jay and Chris!
Can't even begin to express my sincere appreciation for the pleasure and fun we had on this trip. When we were preparing for this voyage we can't even imagine how good it will be.
And it not only because we visited all those beautiful places and saw all those wonders but most of pleasure and enjoinment of your company
and service.
All those fishes and corals, beautiful sunsets and "happy hours".
We can't stop telling to all our friends about this trip and forcing them to see all 800-plus pictures we took.
I know you don't have immediate plans to visit New York, but we will be very happy to see you here.
Again, Thanks so much for this wonderful time!
| | | | | Semper Fi-ed | Hi Kris & Jay!
It was such a pleasure meeting you both and spending the week with you. We only hope that we get to see you again in the future. Lisa and I have traveled with Johnny & Michelle many times and have yet to meet a couple that was more professional, talented, and fun than you. You made our trip extra special. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Lisa & Tim West
| | | | | What a great time we had on our trip! | Hey Kris! We just wanted to tell you what a great time we had on our trip! Thanks so much for taking such great care of us. Jon and I got home last night around midnight after I drove (he had to work today and couldn't keep his eyes open) through a complete white-out snow storm for about 20 miles just before we got back to Knoxville (flew into Atlanta, had to drive to Knoxville). The high today was 21 degrees. Needless to say, I MISS THE SEMPER FI :-) Jon worked today, I met my Mom and stepdad in Nashville to pick up Miss Annie, hit the grocery and I am now back home w/ the heat cranked up! Back to work tomorrow and Friday, followed by a leaf-raking party on Saturday, that only Jon and I are attending.....
Tell Jay thanks a bunch for being a great captain, and consider a TN road trip (it will be warmer in March)! Keep in touch.

| | | | | "We really miss Semper Fi" | Dear Captain Jay and Kris,
Thank you so much for the pigs game and the Captain Ron movie. We'll have a blast! Eh Boss! haha. It really made our day today and it was very kind and thoughtful. Anyway we really miss semper fi and driving the dingy. Thanks again.
Your favorite charterers,
Ross and Jonathan Wasserman
| | | | | The bestest of all though was the CREW | Dear much missed friends,
Right; you've had the official thank you mail, this is the unofficial one from the Widdowsons.
We completely concur with everything Chris wrote, but would like to add our heartfelt thanks for everything you guys did for us.
I know I was only entrusted ( well nearly ) with the odd line or two and a bit of dinghy handling , but I was thrilled to be able to help in that small way and loved every bit of it. I echo Chris' thoughts on your professionalism, Jay, even 'tho it meant I couldn't drive the boat! And as to your cooking, Kris - bloody hell - I am a man who knows about food. Well if you count spending approx. half my income on fine restaurants around Europe, that is. I have never eaten such superb food so consistently as you managed (how I'll never know) from such a small galley/kitchen . I have no friends left at home , they're all bored witless listening to me bang on and on about your food and breakfasts and lunches , and appetizers and dinners , and swimming early morning , showering on the swim platform , " need a dry towel Tony ? " - " cheers Jay , by the way , late this morning aren't you ? !! ".
Well if they think they're bored now, just wait till Jon gets the DVD sorted! They'll be suicidal.
The bestest of all though was the CREW. You pair really made the holiday for us. The boat was great, the scenery awesome, food spectacular, but you were the best. And if, and I can't imagine you ever would, if you ever need a recommendation , send'em to me.
We've not stopped talking about the trip and you two, and there's been talk about next year, we'll see.
Now....... when are you coming over here? ' Cos you're going to be busy . I just need plenty of notice to sort out our planned holidays, so we can have lots of time with you. When d'you think it might be? Let me know.
I am still sorting out some elocution lessons for you Jay, and we're taking you shopping Kris.
We got back from Rome last week, it was magnificent, and now replaces Paris as our favourite city. Architecture awesome, people lovely, shopping to die for, food not as good as Semper Fi.
If you get here, there are cheap flights all over Europe, if you pick them up early enough. But we can sort that out if you fancy it, no probs.
Carol wants me to do some cheesy family photo email, kids, dogs, grandkids , all that schmaltz. I said I'd try, so don't be sick if it happens, just nod and say " ooh lovely ".
And if you get another English charter and need a bit of help with the lingo, just let me know, I'm your man!
Anyway, it's quarter after midnight here and I've just arrived home from a french flick and some stunning - not as good as yours Kris - tapas , and I'm tired and off to beddy byes.
Will write again soon.
Take care, you're in our thoughts.
Thanks truly, once more.
Tony
| | | | | Thank you both for a wonderful week | Hi,
What a surprise!! Came in from the beach and there at the door was Jenga from you. Many thanks!!!! When I pour a glass of wine I am going to play by myself, John is home freezing his buns off.
We had an uneventful trip home. Toast, the dog, survived Camp. She was exhausted along with the rest of us.
Mike's son's break is not as bad as they feared. In a sling for three weeks and then it should be healed.
Thank you both for a wonderful week and thank you for Jenga. It is time for a glass of wine and I will try it out. I am sure I won't have as much fun as I did down there.
Hope all is well with both of you.
| | | | | Dear Kris and J,
How could I ever begin to thank-you for such a wonderful five days with you aboard the Semper
Fi? I did not want to simply send an e-mail thank-you; however, things have been so crazy since my return home and all good intentions of getting a nice note off to you have been foiled. Please be patient though because I still have plans.
Nonetheless, I do want you both to know how special you are and how much I appreciate all of the FABULOUS things you did for Dick and me while we were aboard. The food and presentation was SUPERB! Your table settings were so lovely and the service was just incredible. I just couldn't see how each day could better than the last but each day topped the previous in all respects...except the day that we had to leave, of course.
The snorkeling was such fun and you both took such care to make everything so perfect.
I do look forward to seeing you both again in the not too far away future.
Again, thanks for a wonderful, wonderful time and for all you did to make it happen.
Please keep in touch… love to you both.
Jeannie
