| CREW PROFILES | | | Captain: Tony Goodwin | Nationality: American | | Number of Crew: 5 | | Crew Profiles: Tony Goodwin - Captain
Captain Tony Goodwin is from South Carolina. Growing up on the water, Tony had his first boat when he was 11 years old; it only made sense to turn that passion into a career in yachting. He started in the yachting industry in 1998, working from the bottom up, first as deckhand then mate and finally as a Captain. This growth is what makes Tony such a well-rounded captain. In Tony’s spare time he enjoys surfing, playing a round of golf and travelling to Nicaragua where he is making progress on his second home. His love of water-sports and fishing gets guests excited about all the activities on board, and he will stop at nothing to make sure they have the best vacation ever.
Stephanie Goodwin- Chief Stewardess
Stephanie Goodwin was born and raised in South Carolina. She moved to Florida 8 years ago to be with Tony and start her exciting career in yachting. Stephanie loves the experience of getting to travel the world and constantly meet new people. She worked in the hospitality industry for many years before working on yachts. That experience, combined with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a fun-loving personality make Stephanie a great stewardess. She will certainly make sure all the guest’s needs are met!
Pilar Taylor - Chef
Pilar was born and raised in Southeast Alaska. Her wanderlust and love of the water, started with her father Captain Phil Taylor, a marine pilot for passenger cruise ships for the Alaska Summer seasons. Pilar has spent a large portion of her life on the water, from working on sportfishing boats as a deckhand to working on the Alaska ferries as a steward. In the year of 2000, she moved to Seattle, Washington to study Culinary Arts at the Institute of Seattle, graduating with an Associate degree in Culinary Arts in the year 2003. Pilar spent the last 5 years working as a chef in the Seattle area in fine restaurants. She finally made the transition from Seattle to Fort Lauderdale for the 2006 International Boat Show, to start her yachting career. With two great seasons of wonderful experiences under her belt she is excited to be part of the M/Y Miracle crew.
Pilar loves the outdoors, having to be close to the water and/or mountains. She loves to hike, camp, fish and travel. She also loves to cook and is very interested in nutrition and staying healthy, mentally and physically. Pilar loves to work with people and make them smile, making herself of service to her crewmates and guests.
Bruno Lei - Mate
Communication is one of Bruno’s skills proven by the fact he has mastered seven different languages. Born in Switzerland he is comfortable in the mountains although his real passion lies below sea level. Bruno is an accomplished dive instructor having guided close to 5000 people on their first and subsequent dives. He has also trained over 200 guest’s right through to certification. With Miracle being fully equipped for scuba and snorkeling you too can take advantage of his expertise. Bruno has worked in exotic dive locations such as Belize, Cuba, Egypt, Australia, Thailand, Dominican Republic and for many years in the Caribbean. He is the person onboard who facilitates all the fun activities for you during your stay aboard. Jet skiing, tubing/waterskiing/wakeboarding, kayaking, fishing, trips to deserted beaches and tender rides ashore for shopping to name just a few.
Sean Saper- Engineer
Sean Saper is from Stuart, Florida. He worked at his father's marina from a young age, where he began tinkering with boats and cars. These skills came naturally to him. After high school Sean joined the Navy where he worked on Fighter Jets and afterward got a BS in microbiology and electrical engineering from the University of Florida. Sean is an avid deep-sea fisherman, as well as a trained engineer. His dedication to the maintenance of M/Y Miracle ensures that all systems are functioning and guests enjoy a worry free charter.
Stew/Deck
Juliska Klein
Coming from The Netherlands, Juliska was comfortable in and around the water from a young age. After getting a business and a law degree from the University of Amsterdam she tried the business life for a year, only to find out that she preferred being outdoors rather than in an office. As a dive instructor she traveled the world, where she picked up 5 different languages and hospitality skills. On M/Y Miracle you can find Juliska all round as well helping out on the outside as well as on the inside of the boat; serving you cocktails or taking you diving. | Tony Goodwin Captain |
