Originally from the North East USA, Denise started sailing as a child in the Cape Cod area. Being a very hands on kind of girl, in the early 1980’s she decided to pursue a maritime career which began in the Caribbean where she refit, owned and operated her own 60ft charter sailing yacht. She has since acquired extensive experience captaining numerous sailing and power yachts in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Philippines, Central America, US East and West Coasts from Alaska through the Panama Canal. As an avid racing sailor Denise was one of the first female captains of a sailing yacht in the Trans Pac Race from Los Angeles to Hawaii.
Before pursuing her maritime career Denise was a successful architect/builder of luxury homes and resorts in the USA and Caribbean and has also worked as an advertising graphic artist and production manager of a weekly news magazine. In her spare time you could have found her performing with guitar in hand as a singer/musician in resorts and restaurants. Denise enjoys many water sports including windsurfing and she is an advanced certified PADI Scuba Diver. Always readily at your service, she looks forward to making your stay aboard M/Y Mariah II one of the most memorable holidays you will experience.

Rachel Hargrove
Born and raised in the sunny city of Tampa Fl. Rachel has been a tri-athlete, Life guard, and taught inner city children swimming lessons for many years. During this time Rachel also worked in the restaurant industry. She has held many roles as a bartender, Sushi Chef, and a manager of fine dining establishments. Along with these experiences, Rachel has traveled throughout the Mediterranean and Caribbean on charter and private boats like M/Y Daybreak, M/Y Le Montrachet, and M/Y Allure providing excellent service and attending to the guests needs. Rachel is a natural when it comes to achieving quality service in a high demanding and high energy profession.
Rachel has enjoyed her time on yachts immensely and loves to travel the world. She is looking forward to making your holiday one of the most enjoyable you have experienced.

Kate Holliday
Kate was born in Esperance, Western Australia and has spent the majority of her years growing up in Tumby Bay in South Australia. A tiny Seaside town surrounded by hills covered in Barley and wheat crops. It was here she spent her childhood swimming down the jetty, horseback riding and fishing with her dad.
In 2003, Kate moved to Broome in Australia’s far North West where she began her boating career as a cook upon a south sea pearling vessel for the Paspaley Pearling Company. Over the next 4 years she worked throughout the Kimberley region on many of the fleet’s vessels, working as a cook and a deckhand during the pearl harvest. It was during this time she learned about the wonderful yachting industry. Kate decided to combine her love of all things marine, traveling and her previous hospitality experience working in restaurants, to begin a new career. In 2007 Kate moved to Antibes in France to join her first boat and was fortunate to spend her first year of yachting in many beautiful locations in Turkey, Croatia, Greece, Italy and France.
After the Mediterranean season she ventured over to Florida to continue her travels and experience the industry in this part of the world.Combining her experience and knowledge of life on the water, Kate will strive to make your charter experience a comfortable, enjoyable and memorable one.
