Patrick and Lani Wright look forward to hosting your holiday of a lifetime, and providing you with memories to last long after you are back on solid ground. Be it an action-filled week of sailing and water-sports, or the opportunity to relax and be pampered in a tranquil anchorage, their years of experience and attention to detail will enable them to customize a trip to exceed any expectations.
Captain Patrick and his wife, Chef/Mate Lani, grew up on the Atlantic shores of Nova Scotia, Canada, and studied together at St. Mary’s University in Halifax, prior to their marriage in 1998. After deciding to follow their shared passions of diving and sailing to warmer waters, they headed south to the Caribbean and began their chartering career. Since then they have logged thousands of miles together in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, American coast and New Zealand. They will enjoy the opportunity to share with you their love of adventure and gastronomy; mixing together great food and wine, amazing locations and a love of the life on the sea.
Captain Patrick began sailing at a young age, on his family’s sailboat and went on to get his first Captain’s ticket while in University in Halifax. Since then he has acquired his RYA Yacht Master as well as becoming a PADI Dive Master. His love of the outdoors makes him the ideal host for a snorkel trip or hike ashore and his years of sailing in a wide variety of exotic locations has given him many favourite anchorages that he enjoys sharing with guests. His recent foray into wine studies led him to the South of France for 2 months where he and Lani studied wines. This effort now enables him to select the ideal wine to accompany any of Lani’s gourmet meals.
Chef/Mate Lani is a Cordon Bleu-trained chef who has studied at the internationally recognized Savour School in Melbourne, Australia, specializing in hand-made chocolates. After learning the basics of wine appreciation in New Zealand, she decided to demystify French wines by studying for 2 months in the South of France. Sharing Patrick’s love of nature she is also an avid, professional sailor and a PADI Rescue Diver who loves to hike, wakeboard and snorkel (and top it all off with a fantastic meal!) With a flair for using the freshest of local ingredients to create mouth-watering dishes she is very happy to customize a menu to suit your taste and any dietary requirements. Patrick and Lani look forward to welcoming you onboard.

Nick was born and bred in Halifax and has the sea in his blood. He has always positive attitude, “can do” approach towards meeting guest’s expectations and the energy to keep up with even most active guests. When you walk on board he is there to welcome you and make sure that your vacation will be an unforgettable experience. |
