Background:
Joshua has always been drawn to the ocean. Having learned to sail in 1998, he never looked back. Starting from the bottom rung of the ladder in a small boat yard in Miami, he has mastered the essentials of sailing and power vessels from the bilge up. His strengths lie in comprehending mechanical systems followed closely by an understanding of electrical systems. He is a master with the inner workings on small tenders as well as those on large yachts. He has 10 years of experience and is equally comfortable cruising and navigating the open ocean as he is in the inland waters of the America’s, the Bahamas and the Caribbean.
Qualifications and Experience:
Captain Joshua holds a 100-ton masters license (USCG). He has over 10 years experience in the yacht charter industry, having captained motor yachts up to 110 ft. Other qualifications are: over 10 years of sport fishing experience, qualified scuba diver and has a good background in all types of water sports. Last but not least he loves being with people sharing his knowledge and being able to allow them to experience the beauty of the sea and its vast boundaries. His personality compliments him for that perfect relaxed “Fun-In-The-Sun” charter that clients walk away from and take lasting memories of promising to return to TUONO for their next charter.
