Captain Lyn Hippert:
With over 40 years experience in the yachting world I feel very confident in my abilities to give my clients the upmost care and enjoyment of their time while on board the M/Y EVY'S ANGEL. I have a very good knowledge of the waters from Maine south to the Leeward Islands of the Caribbean. Captain Lyn has cruised the waters of the Bahamas for over 18 years. Lyn’s actual boating experience started at the age of 6 years old and have never strayed from the magic and mystery it possesses.
Qualifications: Captain Lyn holds a 500-ton masters license (USCG) and has done 12 Transatlantic crossings, 10 years in the U. S. COAST GUARD, 5 of which was at Cape Hatteras N C. running a high surf heavy weather life boat. During this time he received a Presidential Life Saving medal. The remainder of the time was spent in search and rescue related fields. He has over 10 years in the yacht charter industry, having captained motor yachts up to 110 ft.
Other qualifications are over 20 years of sport fishing experience beginning at the age of 14, qualified scuba dive and has a good background in all types of water sports. Last but not least he loves being with people sharing his knowledge and being able to allow them to experience the beauty of the sea and its vast boundaries.
