CAPTAIN : TSAGARAKOS GEORGIOS
He is 35 years old. He is single. After attending High School, he graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy and holds a C’ Class Captain Degree. He also holds certificates in life saving and fire fighting equipment for rendering first aid.
He has extensive experience at sea, previously on cargo ships for 8 years and thereafter 5 years on private yachts. Excellent knowledge of cruising areas in Greek seas and Turkish coasts. Speaks English fluently. He is gentle and extremely polite and he is always willing to serve guests’ needs.
ENGINEER: VASILIS FLERIANOS
He is 29 years old and married. He has been at sea for several years and mostly on cargo ships. He holds certificates on life saving and fire fighting and on fast boats. He speaks English. He is very experienced and efficient in his job. In Vasilis, guests will find a well-trained professional as well as a valuable companion at sea.
The remaining two crew members sailor, steward/cook will be hired after launching.
M/S PHILOKALIA
CAPTAIN: PAPAPASCHOS EVANGELOS
He is 35 years old and he is married with two children. He is a traditional Greek captain. He has had experience at sea as skipper for ten years on sailing boats and 7 years on M/Y SIRIUS. He is the captain of Philokalia since last year.
Vangelis knows the Greek islands very well and he will be happy to show you the most beautiful beaches and idyllic sights of his country. He enjoys fishing and water sports.
SAILOR: PSEFTELIS ELIAS
Elias is 42 years old. He is single. He has 25 years experience as a sea sailor. He has been working on various yachts since 1979 and the last two years on our yacht
Philokalia. Elias loves the sea and cooking. He will be happy to prepare the most tasteful menus for his guests. He speaks English.
