Captain Dimitrios is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy and holds an Ocean Master’s Certificate for yachts up to 2500 Grt. He also holds the following Certificates and Licenses: General operator (GMDSS), ARPA / RADAR, Medical Care on board, Tanker & LPG carriers safety cert, Ro/Ro & Passengers ships safety, Radiotelephone operator, Life Saving & Fire Fighting, Certificate of training in RADAR plotting, the use of RADAR & the use of Navigation Aids, ISPS Certificate (International Ship & Port Security – Against Piracy & Terrorist Activities) (Decca, Loran, Omega, D/F, Satellite navigation - GPS). Capt Dimitrios has more than 20 years of experience at sea – the last 14 years as a Captain.
