Denise Fox
Originally from the North East USA, Denise started sailing as a child in the Cape Cod area. Being a very hands on kind of girl, in the early 1980’s she decided to pursue a maritime career which began in the Caribbean where she refit, owned and operated her own 60ft charter sailing yacht. She has since acquired extensive experience captaining numerous sailing and power yachts in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Philippines, Central America, US East and West Coasts from Alaska through the Panama Canal. As an avid racing sailor Denise was one of the first female captains of a sailing yacht in the Trans Pac Race from Los Angeles to Hawaii.

Before pursuing her maritime career Denise was a successful architect/builder of luxury homes and resorts in the USA and Caribbean and has also worked as an advertising graphic artist and production manager of a weekly news magazine. In her spare time you could have found her performing with guitar in hand as a singer/musician in resorts and restaurants.

Denise enjoys many water sports including windsurfing and she is an advanced certified PADI Scuba Diver. Always readily at your service, she looks forward to making your stay aboard M/Y Mariah II one of the most memorable holidays you will experience.
