Captain: Jelle Boute (Belgian) 31 years
Jelle was educated at the Mombassa Academy, Kenya, the European School of Brussels, and the Southampton Institute, UK. He is fluent in English, Dutch and French.
A dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced all round sailor with in excess of 135,000 nm on a variety of yachts up to 160’ Jelle has sailed the Pacific, Mediterranean, Atlantic, Indian Ocean and the Red Sea. Over the years he has acquired an in-depth knowledge of a broad range of marine systems, good engineering and maintenance skills. He has an extensive knowledge of the charter industry and many years experience in providing high level service to his guests.
Stewardess/cook: Albane de Medrano (French)
Albane received her degree in Leisure Tourism in 2001. She is fluent in French, English, Italian and Spanish.
Her interest in yachting started after obtaining her degree in 2001. She worked as a deck-hand and stewardess/cook on a variety of sail and motor yachts up to 35m. She has excellent culinary, service and hospitality skills. Albane loves the outdoors and is a keen diver and horse rider.
