Stéphane Leviel (Captain) and Sylvie Neuveu (Cook) are happily working together now for more than four years, both on private and charter yachts, from Greece to the West Indies. They will be assisted on Perle Noire by a deckhand.
Although Stéphane Leviel is a French citizen and was born in France, he was raised in La Réunion, a French island in the Indian Ocean. After his diploma in industrial design, he decided to live his passion for the sea and become captain.
After 15 years of charters, Atlantic crossings and deliveries, he has an unblemished safety record and has earned the respect and admiration of his peers.
He is a man who loves his work, and his enthusiasm and friendly outgoing style is infectious and much appreciated by any guests who have sailed with him.
Stéphane is fluent in English and French and enjoys all water sports, fishing, and photography.

Born in Montreal, Canada, from newly arrived French parents, Sylvie had the desire to discover the world at a very early age. After completing her university degree in communication arts, she began a life long love of travel and along the way acquired language and culinary skills.
She is an epicurean who loves good wines and good food, and enjoys sharing her passion with others. She learnt the finer points of French cuisine and has acquired a considerable experience in the culinary arts of many countries. She is very particular about the ingredients she chooses for her meals, which are always from the freshest and best sources. Her cuisine is healthy, always delicious and much appreciated by her clientele.
