Captain Morgan Launay
After his sailing instructor training, Morgan (28 yo) worked for 7 years as a captain, for sailing schools, charters companies and owners. He knows really well the french Atlantic coast, a good part of the Mediterranean and most of the Caribbean. He's been on Perle Noire since October 08 and has given great satisfaction to all passengers coming aboard during this period. Happy to teach sailing, Morgan takes pride in maintening Perle Noire to the highest standard and in presenting it to guests.
Aude (28 yo), his wife, got her osteopath diplôma last september, just before coming on Perle Noire. She has sailed extensively as delivery crew on various yachts and crossed the atlantic several times. She learned her traditional french cooking from her mother, and then improved her skills on different yachts. Her cuisine is « dans l’air du temps », modern, imaginative, light and pretty. She likes to accomodate every taste and can satisfy the most delicate palate.
The deckhand :
Pierre, 22 yo, French, deckhand. Despite his young age, he is very skillfull and has a good sense of humor. He is always available for the passengers.
The three of them make a very professional, friendly and complementary team.
All the crew onboard Perle Noire are trained through the STCW Basic Safety Course covering fire fighting, sea survival and first aid.
