Captain Carl grew up and is originally from Homestead, Florida and upon graduating from school enrolled in the Coast Guard. Carl spent ten years in the Coast Guard stationed in Maryland, Palm Beach, Alaska, Mexico and finally Islamorada, doing search and rescue, patrolling and migrant interdiction. Upon leaving the Coast Guard he went to work for the owner of Lucky Me who originally had a 60 foot Hatteras motor yacht. He spent two years running between South Florida and New England. The owner purchased the current Lucky Me in August of 2006 and they have been based in the Bahamas for the winter and will head to Newport, RI for the summer of 2007. Carl is thirty years old, very friendly and easy going and aims to please! His charters in the Bahamas have included both families with children and all adult couples and have all left rave reviews about their experiences on board.

Captain Carl is a Florida native, growing up in Homestead and currently still lives there in between charters and owner’s trips aboard Lucky Me. Upon graduating, Carl enrolled in the US Coast Guard and served ten years before getting into yachting. He was stationed in Maryland, Palm Beach, Alaska, Mexico and Islamorada, doing search and rescue, patrolling and migrant interdiction. After leaving the Coast Guard, Carl went to work for the owner of Lucky Me on board his 60 foot Hatteras motor yacht. They spent two years cruising between South Florida and New England before moving up to the current 75’ Hatteras Lucky Me in August of 2006. Since then, he has been chartering in New England for the summers and Florida and the Bahamas in the winters. Carl is young, energetic, and has an easy going personality, making him an adaptable successful charter captain. He enjoys fishing, snorkeling and showing charter guests a relaxing and enjoyable time aboard Lucky Me. The charters on board have included both families and couples and Carl and Jennifer have gotten rave reviews from everyone on board!

Jennifer is a New England native growing up in New Hampshire and has been living in West Palm Beach Florida for the last nine years. Jennifer is a graduate of the New England Culinary Institute in Vermont, and began her career in upscale restaurants and hotels. After living in Palm Beach, Fl and being exposed to the world of yachting, she thought she was give cooking a try underway! Jennifer has been working on yachts for six years and she says the best part of her job is that every day is different. Working on a charter yachts gives her the opportunity to meet great people and enjoy different locations and cultures. She has done many charters in New England, Florida and the Bahamas. She enjoys creating all types of cuisines to suit everyone’s specifics tastes, with baking being one of her favorite aspects of cooking! Jennifer looks forward to welcoming guests on board Lucky Me.
