Captain:John Butler
U.S. Coast Guard Licensed, John has 23 years at sea ranging from the Aleutians to Turkey with Hawaiian and Atlantic passages including the West Coast of Mexico, Sea of Cortez, Chesapeake Bay and Potomac River. Aboard PANACHE, John Cruises California, the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia. First Mate: Max Eade
Max has a wide variety of experience on yachts in the USA and abroad. His qualifications include Offshore Yachtmaster, Sea Survical, Basic Firefighting and First Aid
John is also a PADI Dive Master. ON PANACHE, Max strives to ensure a safe, comfortable and relaxing journey for all quests both on board and ashore.
Chef: Zacharias Kemp
Zach has a well-rounded history on yachts and in restaurants. Beginning in 1999 in the Mediterranean on FULMARA, he was responsible for provisions, menu planning, food preparation and presentation. Zach spent most of 2000 as a freelance chef on yachts in France, such as SECRET LOVE, DREAMLAND, and BLUE LEOPARD. He then moved to Oxford, England, where he designed the menu and provisioned for the upscale CAFE BOHEME. Zach aslo worked at SOUL BAR & GRILL in Auckland where he ordered and prepared the full menu, along with overseeing the restaurant's eight chefs. Zach joined PANACHE in late 2003, where he adds his food preparation experience and sporting & sailing interests to the crew.
