CAPTAIN
Remi Eriksen
Remi is originally from Norway, born and raised on the Norwegian west coast in a little town called Kristiansund. He now calls the lovely Spanish - Costa del Sol resort town Puerto Banus, Marbella his home. Having spent most of his life on or by the ocean, it felt natural to pursue a career at sea. After graduating from 4 years at the Maritime University in Kristiansund, he started off as 1st Officer in Norwegian Cruise Line where he progressed through the ranks and became Captain in 2005. Remi has served aboard several Cruise Ships taking him to all 5 Continents, covering all of the Oceans and rounding all of the famous Cape’s including several complete circumnavigations. Remi is an excellent Captain and a charming host.
FIRST MATE
Jake Bundred
Jake grew up in Australia and has been working on yachts for the last four years. He is a competent seaman and previously worked on Lady Marina (64m) and Tooth Fairy (45m) prior to joining Private Lives at the end of the Summer season. Jake has a pleasant personality and looks forward to looking at the guests. He enjoys snorkeling, snowboarding, surfing as well as playing the guitar.
CHIEF ENGINEER
Mario Rogulijc
Mario was born in Sibenik to a family with a long lasting tradition as seamen. Mario completed his engineering degree at the collage of Maritime Studies in 1978 and has been working on various kinds of ships ever since. For the last 20 years he worked in the cruising industry in almost all corners of the world. The most memorable cruises were 2 seasons in Antarctica, 3 seasons in Alaska, 4 seasons in South East Asia and 3 around the world cruises on the legendary Crown Odyssey. Mario’s base is in Split where he spends all his free time with his wife and 3 children. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, fishing, but most of all sailing around the Dalmatian islands.
CHEF
Clinton Hutchinson
Clinton comes from Australia and although fairly new to yachting, he is an accomplished chef having spent 10 years as a chef in Australia. He also worked on the 50m yacht True North based in Australia. Clinton will be happy to meet the requirements of any client but his specialties include Italian, French, Vegetarian, Vegan and Patisserie cooking. Clinton has been on board Private Lives since September. He enjoys motor cycling, music, surfing and watersports.
CHIEF STEWARDESS
Emma Holloway
Emma comes from England and has been working on yachts for the last two years. After working on Private Lives two Summers ago, she then worked on the 50m motor yacht Illusion. She returned to Private Lives last September as Chief Stewardess. Emma has a bubbly personality and takes pride in making sure the guests are well looked after. She enjoys keeping fit, dance, travelling, entertaining
STEWARDESS
Holly Dixon
Holly is from the south coast of Australia and grew up on the beach. She comes from a fashion background but changed her career path 1 year ago to work on yachts. She worked as stewardess on board the yacht ‘Samja’ based in Cannes, France for the Mediterranean season before joining “Private Lives”. Holly enjoys photography, music, traveling and meeting new people.
DECKHAND
Walter Reynolds
From New Zealand .Walter is a keen sailor and has a passion for being out on the ocean. After working on a dive charter boat and participating in a few regattas in New Zealand, Walter has ventured further away from home to extend his experiences at sea. His other interests include surfing, diving and fishing.
