Our Experience on the "Legacy" was one to remember and the care you provided for us was beyond our expectation. We felt very safe on board the Legacy and she sailed smoothly from Caye to Caye.
Our Chef,made sure we had fresh daily baked breads and "unbelizeable" gourmet meals. She was very kind to cater to our special request like our Conch Fritters and various Belizean recipes. We miss your food already and your wonderful smile.
Stewardess and Bartender, Shirlene, not only helped prepare the food in the galley, but made the best drinks with endless variety of freshly squeezed juices. she also kept our rooms clean daily and also provided afternoon massages on the rain deck, thank you Shirlene.
Dive Master, Patch provided us with amazing personally customized guided tours of the Great Belizean Reef and catered to our every request for specific dives. His knowledge of the reef, it's inhabitants and various marine life was very extensive and always informative. He made sure that safty for all our divers was his main priority, as we had a varied group of begining to experienced divers. Every dive was an experience to remember and the reef was truly a sight to behold! The snorkeling was just as amazing as the diving and we equally enjoyed the wonderful sights of the reef, the rays, the fish, the giant sea turtles almost every time out!! Many thanks Patch for accompanying us on every trip on land and sea!
Ramona, Dive Instructor, who was so great in helping Rob get his dives for certification. Her relaxed demeanor kept the nerves at bay and provided us with additional support during all our dives for the entire group. She helped Pat get our equipment ready for our daily dives and kept us organized. Thank you for coming as per our request for an instructor, on board the "Legacy" for this trip.
First Mate, Tony, the man who made so much possible!! Taking our group from the catamaran to cayes and beaches; out to the reef in the morning, afternoon and night; fishing; conch fishing; to the lagoon; to the various villages; to the bars; looking out for us and making our dives safe out on the open water. His wit and sense of humor made us all feel welcome and he was able to come through with every request. Along with Patch, these 2 gentlemen were reliable, experienced, and a wealth of knowledge of not only the sea, the reef, but also the Belizean culture. Thank you for enriching us!
Thank you to our friend Moses and his wonderful village! He gave us a grand tour of the caves on our first day. A walk through the rain forest; going through a museum like cave of stalogmites and stalactities;climbing up vines to see spider monkeys; eating rose apples; looking through mangroves for Manatees; and drinking Belikin Beer and Cashew wine at Gentle's bar. Thank you for your hospitality!
Last but definitely not least, our gracious captain Lisa! Thank you for giving us and our entire group a channce to experience beautiful Belize on board your Catamaran. You made sure we were always safe on board, and you were flexable with your plans(weather permitting). You were extreamly accommodating to all our requests and your relaxed but professional personality never wavered. Even aboard the Catamaran, we never felt confined nor in each others space. It was truly comfortable and inviting place to spend a vacation. I think that going to a resort and staying in a hotel would be down grading now!! You and your crew were a pleasure to get to know and we would highly recommend the Legacy to anyone visiting Belize. We will definately come again!!
